It is probably time for another one of these

So, I’m guessing I should probably post things here since I have the official blog. I’m still not really certain what I should write. I decided to start thinking about ideas for things to talk about but nothing good came to me these past few days. I’m not good at talking about day to day activities since I usually do fairly boring things during the day and they probably aren’t all that exciting to write about. I do have occasions when I find subjects that spark me to have a strong opinion, but I’m not as good at capturing the ideas after I’ve already expressed them. I suppose if I have a moment like that I need to sit down and type instead of speak out loud the ideas.
Anyway, since me rambling about why I don’t post anything is not all that exciting, I’ll talk about something just a bit more exciting and tell you about the adventures of my day. This will be really exciting, just hold on!
So, I’ve been wanting to get a desktop computer running for about two months and have been very unsuccessful up until now. My desktop computer just shut down and wouldn’t come back up. After some poking around I figured it must be the motherboard/processor causing the problem. After putting a different motherboard into the computer, the same thing happened. Basically, the power would turn on for about a second and then shut back down. After getting yet another motherboard and also trying my original motherboard in a different case, and it not working there either, I decided it must now be the power supply. I bought a new power supply because two different power supplies we already had at home responded the exact same way.
Well, after hooking everything up with the new power supply, the darn thing came up with the same result. After that I figured there must be something fishy with the case I was using, so I put everything into a new case. As my luck would have it, I again could not get the computer to start up. At that point, I was extremely annoyed and gave up. Luckily, (hmm, do I need some fancy abbreviation or code word for this person? I’ll just call him “Chad”) “Chad” tried his hand at it and determined we did have two bad power supplies. He managed to get the thing running and installed an operating system on it. This operating system happened to be Windows, so it is a good thing I’m keeping his identity a secret because “Chad” might not want to have it get out that he did something like that.
About an hour ago I tried getting things running on the computer but found out that the drivers for the ethernet card didn’t install. I found drivers for the motherboard, but that didn’t seem to work. I’ve given up for now on the thing because I had other things to do. Anyway, the computer is almost running and soon I can install some sort of life sucking MMORPG on it.
Well, there you go. I hope this will be enough to satisfy the people who have been itching for a new entry.

Yay!!!! I’m soooo happy to see your thoughts! Don’t worry about writing about anything “exciting” – this is great stuff! Your non-exciting is my exciting!
Did “Chad” spontaneously combust after installing Windows?

No, I . . . err, “he” . . . didn’t combust. “He” did smolder a bit, though.

I’m so impressed – that’s some serious SigO support!
